Minart GAZ AAA

...with a big gun. Too big probably but that's okay, I had a blast making this one. Not much to say about this one, which was my entry at AMPS nationals in Auburn other than maybe that it was a little rushed. I was actually working on it in hotel rooms in both Chicago and Auburn in the days prior to the show.

These are just some quick photos, they're kinda crap too. I had a long week and I'm still recovering from a total lack of sleep.

Enjoy.

  3. love it Ken - awesome detailing and finish. But mostly a really unique subject - you must be very proud of this one. The hard work shows.

    1. Thanks Mark, it was a fun build for sure. Even when I was feverishly finishing it at zero hour in the hotel room before the show.

Yes, this will be in a future issue of Military Modelcraft International, perhaps the June or July issue?

  11. Hi Cesare,

the windshield was done with a sharp hobby knife and the side window was done using Deluxe Icy Sparkles and white glue. Per Olav Lund introduced me to this and you can read about it in an older Military Modelcraft International issue with this model on the cover.

    Thanks!
