Calling it... for the time being that is.

I cannot say I am 100% done with this one as that would be a lie. There are a few tedious little things I would still like to do but since there may not even be that much of a noticeable difference, I am going to post the results of spending a rainy weekend working at the bench.

In truth, I am anxious to dive deeper into some projects that have been hinted at here and elsewhere and once I get these pictures up I can feel comfortable in knowing that I've shown a fair enough representation of the 'finished' product to allow me to move on to other things, without leaving this build open ended.

Enjoy the pictures, this is most likely the last update for the M16 that will be posted here, unless I change something drastically that is.

Nice work, buddy! Nothing to really add that I haven't said on SMW.

Wow Ken this is great the halftrac looks excellent but the groundwork is even better. Congrats on a job well done.

nice work realy. the wodden base bring class to it. I dont have heavy tool to make one unfortunately.

Scale Modeling

The childhood hobby that followed me into adulthood. The dream I once had about being published in those dog eared magazines I spent my rainy days thumbing through long realized, I find myself seeking the simplicity of the hobby I once had as a child.

This is my place to do that, my quiet little corner of the web where I can just unwind with my imagination and find oneself as while simultaneously losing oneself. My bench is my escape, from reality and weight of the world with it's drama and deadlines. Adding that aspect into ones hobby can make it that much less enjoyable. Imagine sitting down at your bench and having your boss demand things from you and your annoying coworker chewing his banana with with his mouth open in your ear.

It's a hobby. It's not life. Enjoy it how ever you like, be it out of the box or rivet counting. Don't let anyone tell you any different, and allow them the same leeway in their endeavor. Build how you like, like how you build.
